Just For Fun Boat Excursions Joins the Cape Coral Chamber Of Commerce
Monday, April 26, 2010
Just For Fun Boat Excursions recently joined the Cape Coral Chamber Of Commerce to help grow their business by networking with many other businesses in the area and receive the benefits that the Chamber has to offer. On April 22, 2010 they held the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony aboard the "Just For Fun" excursion boat just off the beach of North Captiva Island at the edge of Captiva Pass.

Other Chamber Members joining the event were Kitty Madden and Tammy Brown from Prudential / Florida Realty, Dr. Juergen Hartwich and Bruno Lukas from IBO International, Rafael Ramos / Handyman Services, Karen Ramos of Castaways Travel Inc. and Angela Davis of Merrill Lynch. Also joining us was a group of 20 guests staying at North Captiva Island Club for what was supposed to be a quick 15 minute trip to the beach for a Ribbon Cutting Photo. Then the incredible surprise.

We found ourselves surrounded by a huge pod of dolphins on the way to the location. They seemed extremely curious and playing in the wake of the boat putting on a show for all that was aboard. Those who had cameras were getting great shots of the dolphins in their natural habitat Pine Island Sound. Those who didn't got out their cell phones and did the best they could.

When we finally got through the swarm of dolphins we made it out to the location for the Ribbon Cutting. We were hoping to recruit a few of the guests from the Island to join in on the picture with our crew and the other chamber members when to our surprise all of them crowded around Captain Pat and the first mate Collins striking their best pose. After Dr. Juergen snapped the photo of Captain Pat cutting the ribbon with the giant scissors, a loud roar of applause rang out over Pine Island Sound from our very enthusiastic guests.

After making a quick trip to the lower coast of Cayo Costa we returned back to the dock at the North Captiva Island Club and visited the pool bar at Mangos and had a few refreshments before making our trip back to the marina on Maria Dr. on Pine Island.  To end the trip we even gave witness to a beautiful south Florida sunset of the back of the boat. Thanks to the Cape Coral Chamber Of Commerce and Donna Germain for all their help in coordinating the event. Also thanks to all the other Chamber Members and guests of North Captiva Island Club for their attendance.

If you are interested in joining us for one of our boat excursions please call 239-283-3630 right away.
