If you're driving to the Checkin Center for North Captiva Island Club on Doug Taylor Cir and you have some extra time before the water taxi leaves be sure to stop in Matlacha and visit the North Captiva Island information center at 4195 Pine Island Rd NW, or one of the many restaurants like Bert's, The Sandy Hook or Vesuvio on Pine Island. You may also want to visit one of the many art galleries on both sides of the road as you drive through Matlacha.
