Once you arrive at The Conch House, the first thing you’ll notice is the spectacular downstairs pool area. Not only is there an oversized pool for everyone’s enjoyment, but there is also an island tiki bar– complete with 4-person bar seating, beverage refrigerator, ice maker and a 42” HD TV. Where else can you watch the big game while you and the kids go swimming in the pool?! Loungers, Adirondack chairs and a dining table line the pool deck where there is a seat for everyone - in both the sun and shade. The pool has the much desired western exposure allowing for this amazing entertainment area to be enjoyed throughout the whole day into evening!
As you walk up the screened stairs to the second level of the home, you will notice an outdoor dining area complete with seating for 8. Enjoy protected outdoor dining while listening to the sounds of surf! A propane grill is located on the same level, so you won’t have to run up and downstairs to check on dinner. Upon entering into our home, you will notice this level is the main living area. The open floor plan allows the living room and kitchen to flow together – great for cooking and entertaining at the same time! GE Profile appliances, granite countertops, a 47” TV with Direct TVHD (including ALL of the premium channels) and a high-end iPod stereo make this area stand out! Adjacent to the living area are two nicely appointed bedrooms that share a full bath. Another half bath with washer and dryer is also located close by.
A walk up the stairs to the third floor leads you into the Master Suite. Island themed with beautiful wood floors and plantation shutters, it features a luxurious king size double pillow top bed, and includes a 47” LCD Flat Screen with DVD and Satellite. A double sink and double shower complete the Master Bathroom. Head outside via disappearing glass sliders to the covered Master deck – very private, this is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and views of the Gulf.
Last, but certainly not least, is the 4th floor View Deck. Just added onto the house in 2012, this boasts spectacular views of the Gulf all the way around the island to the Bay. Take in gorgeous sunsets and celebrate the end of a perfect North Captiva day atop this view deck at The Conch House!
