It would take virtually weeks to do everything that is offered at North Captiva Island Club Resort. Literally dive into water sports. With small power boat rentals you can explore the island's picturesque coastline. Kayaks, wave runners, fishing gear, beach chairs, umbrellas and fishing charters are also available at the Club's Bike & Boat rental barn. Some equipment rentals are complimentary for Island Club Resort guests. Then unwind in one of the pools or relax with your favorite cocktail at our Hidden Cove Pool Bar or dockside at Mango's Island Grill.
For the active type, North Captiva Island Club offers two lighted Har-Tru tennis courts and basketball court. Golfers can boat to the 18-hole golf course at the nearby Alden Pines Country Club.
One-half of North Captiva Island is a protected 750 acre state preserve that offers true unspoiled wilderness for those island explorers who want to view an untouched refuge. Take advantage of the nature tour through the preserve for a nominal fee.
North Captiva is well-known for the abundance and variety of its seashells. Without the influx of tourists to the island, great shelling is still enjoyed by our visitors. Charter a boat to do more shelling or beach combing on the barrier island of Cayo Costa. Charter reservations can also be made for restaurant tours, sunset cruises, snorkeling, fishing, diving, and beach picnics. Nature and History Cruises are also available to discover the islands of Pine Island Sound and learn the history of the great Calusa people and the folklore of the ruthless pirates.
The ultimate thing to do is relax in the tropical luxury of North Captiva Island, truly a vacation paradise.
